Implantable Contact Lenses is a kind of eyes sight correcting operation, which is applied to treat those with super-high myopia, hypermetropia and astigmatism and those who cannot thoroughly correct their eyesight through LASIK,PRK,LASEK due to the restraint of their corneal thickness. The surgery is to implant a soft crystal made of advanced collagen into eyes through a tiny incision. According to the 3 years follow-up cases of "supporting the safety, effectiveness and the predicitablility of ICL "conducted by FDA in 2004, 99 percent of patients are satisfied with the ICL surgery because it takes effect. Of course, nothing is absolute, so is the ICL, but generally speaking, it is safe.
