  • Can I wear contacts right after giving birth to a baby?

I just gave birth to a baby last week, and I wonder if i can wear contacts now.

Before and after you give birth, your retina will become thicker and won't go back to normal until 6 months later. If you wear contacts, your cornea will be lack of oxygen and result in conjunctivitis. So it is better to wear glasses during these time.

No. You'd better not. Your cornea can get back to normal 6 months after you give birth to a baby. If you wear contacts right after giving birth, you will get conjunctivitis and other eye problems in your eyes because the contact lenses can block oxygen from getting into your eyes.
