  • Can I wear monthly contact lens over one month?

I have been wearing monthly disposable contacts for several months, but was wondering if I can wear the contacts lens beyond one month saying 45 or 60 days. Will it cause any eye problem? How do I know it is time to dispose them?

Yes, it is harmful. The bacterial on the lenses may cause eye diseases or eye infection. You'd better dispose they as the date your eye doctor told you to, within the experiy time.

If you wear monthly contact lens over one month, your eye will get infection. They have a expiry date. Once they are out of date, the lens and the contact solution are no longer as clean as before,so your eyes get greater chance for infection.
