Generally speaking, you can wear sunglasses and contact lenses at the same time as long as your sunglasses have no prescritpion. If your sunglasses have the same prescritpion as that of your contact lenses, you may get blurry vision and headache. What's more, be sure to wear sunglasses that have 100% UV protection.

If you wear non prescription sunglasses together with your contact lenses, then there would be no problem. Make sure the sunglasses fit you correctly and they must have 100% UV protection, so they can protect your eyes from UV rays. Do not wear prescription sunglasses and contact lenses at the same time, otherwise they will damage your eyes.

Technically, it's OK. But why not wearing sunglasses and contact lenses at the same time? If you wearing contacts for clear vision, why not choose prescription sunglasses that can give you eye protection, vision aids and stylish look. Just wearing a pair of prescription sunglasses rather than wearing sunglasses and contact lenses save your time and won't burden your eyes.
