crusty eye

Are your contacts daily contacts, monthly contacts or yearly contacts? I guess your contacts is out of date. You should have new pairs.

Did you forget to get it off from your eyes when you went to sleep last night? Or if your contact lenses has been infected by bacteria.I suggest you have your lenses checked at the eyeglasses shop.
