Is there a difference between name brand designer glasses frames vs. ordinary ones?

are the materials they are made out of different? quality? or is it solely just that designer frames have the "designer logo" that makes it more expensive?

In my opinion ,the quality of designer glasses is better than the ordinary ones . There are a lot of replica designer glasses on the market but less expensive . But some of the high replicas are as good quality as the original ones cuz they use the same material . The only difference is that they copy the designer's idea to the product. The most expensive part of designer glasses is not the quality ,it is the design concept .
