  • Are rimless eyeglasses good for teenagers?

Rimless eyeglasses look nice but seem easy be broken. Is it a good choice for teenagers?

  • #2
I think this all depends on your own will. rimless glasses look bookish on teenagers face, but it is easy to be broken as the screws of nose pads are easy to become flexible. If you are good at taking care of your glasses, rimless eyeglasses will be a good choice. If you are not, I think you should choose glasses with full frame, just like me. I bought rimless glasses before, but I can't take care of it, so it just broken in several months. Then, I filled myself a pair of glasses with full and wide frame, and the material is plastic, it's very well now after more than two years.

Rimless eyeglasses are not supported by the frame in the lens periphery, but it is supported by both sides of the mirror leg lens. Normally, Rimless glasses are fit for round face, oval face and square face. However, we should note that the higher degree will increase the lens thickness and weight, so rimless glasses will be bloated. We should know the advantages of rimless glasses, it is more trend, colorful, comfortable and greatly ease the pressure on the bridge of the nose and eyes. Moreover because there is no frame bound, the field of vision becomes wider and therefore favored by the teenagers. On the other hand, it also has shortcomings. When the role of the rotation or torque is encountered, the force will be directly above on the lens, therefore, it is likely to cause damage to the lens. Whether you choose it, it depends on your lifestyle and personal love.
