Commonly people use "geek" to describe someone with intellectual pursuits to the exclusion of more popular interests, while "nerd" is applied to those who are more socially withdrawn within such activities. But when it refers to eyeglasses, They are actually the same eyeglasses featured with thick black eyeglasses frames.
