Can half framed glasses last as long as full framed?

I am going to get half frame glasses, but I wonder if they can last as long as full framed. Does anyone have any experience of this?

No. The half framed glasses are not as strong as full framed glasses because half of the lens is exposed to the outside. However, if you are careful enough when using them, there won't be a problem.

In general, half frames aren't as strong as full frames. But with attentive care, they can last as long as full frame glasses. I once had a pair of half frame glasses and they even last longer than the full framed.
