I've always gotten headaches from extended periods of reading, but now it seems to occur faster and with other symptoms. I have really good vision, I'm just having issues with reading. So I was just wondering if picking up a pair of read/computer glasses from a local store would help? Or should i go visit a doctor first?

Will over the counter reading/computer glasses help eye strain during reading?

the problems may be caused by reading for over time . If the symptoms relieve after you have a rest , you should have a break during long-time reading . If not ,it is better for you to visit a doctor . If you have good vision and don't wear prescription glasses , it is unnecessary for you to wear reading glasses to adjust the focus .

First of all, I want to know your age because the old people may easily get the bad situation on eyes, like finding it hard to look at the near things clearly. Secondly, are you sure that your eyes have the right vision? I still suggest you to go to see the doctor and have a check on eyes before you decide to buy a pair of reading glasses.
