In what situation should I not use pinhole glasses?

Pinhole glasses have become popular in recent years. I am wondering when should I not use them? Can I wear them for driving?

Pinhole glasses would allow only limited number of rays to get into the eye so they can make the rays form a clear image on the retina and then people can see more clearly. However, these glasses can affect the peripheral vision when people wear them, so they shouldn't be used for driving in case they will affect the drivers' visual field.

Pinhole glasses use the technology to reduce the amount of light getting into the eye, so people will find difficult seeing in the dark or dimly light places with pinhole glasses. So pinhole glasses are not suitable for dark or dimly light places.
