Does it matter where I get my eyeglass lenses from?

Is there a difference in quality between having them sent off and getting them from a place like EyeMasters? My optometrist office takes 5 - 10 days to get me my glasses because they send them off to get the lenses put it. EyeMasters can hand them to me within an hour because they have their own cutting labs.

Put on a pair of rubber gloves before you set up to do it.Then use a cotton swab spread the Armour Etch on both sides of the lenses. Wait for 5 minutes.Rinse the lenses in warm water to remove the Armour Etch cream.Finally dry off the lenses with a clean, lint-free cotton cloth. Then the scratch-resistant coating will get off.

There is no difference where you get your eyeglass lenses from. The quality is the same.The only difference is that it takes more time if you have them send off.
