If you find that there are floaters of your eyes. Eat more food which are rich in vitamins. Vitamin A is one of the essential nutrients for your eyes. Vitamin C and vitamin E can destroy the free radical and improve the immune function. Vitamin B is also very important for your eyes. It can promote the metabolism of your eyes.

vitamins can help keep your eyes healthy, improve night vision and reduce the risk of certain eye diseases such as Macular degeneration, age related cataracts etc. But it will not do any benefit for eye floaters. In fact there is still no effective treatments for floaters. I have also read that excessive intake of Vitamin A can make eye floaters more serious for some people. So don't try to treat yourself with vitamins or medications.

Floaters are deposits of various size, shape, consistency, refractive index, and motility within the eye's vitreous humour, which is normally transparent. It also called Muscae volitantes (from the Latin, meaning "flying flies"), or mouches volantes (from the French). Floaters are visible because of the shadows they cast on the retin, or their refraction of the light that passes through them, and can appear alone or together with several others in one's field of vision. They may appear as spots, threads, or fragments of cobwebs, which float slowly before the observer's eyes. Since these objects exist within the eye itself, they are not optical illusions but are entoptic phenomena. You should not make your eyes too tired. As for vitamins, yes, they are useful to eyes, especially to your eye problem. Vitamin A is a necessary nutrient for eyes. V-c and V-e can increase eye immunity and good for vision. V-b could boost metabolism. They are all helpful to the floaters. There are also some tips about your meals. Eat more animal liver, eggs, beans, meat, fresh vegetables, fruit, seafood and fish. Eat less spicy food and drink less coffee. Never smoke!

Vitamin C levels is quite high in the eyes and antioxidants are important, vitamin C is involved in collagen production, supports the health of capillaries in the eye, and is a potent antioxidant,it can reduce the incidence of cataracts. Further vitamin C seems to reduce pressure associated with glaucoma, what's more, the eye contains the second highest levels of vitamin C in the body, and this vitamin is essential in maintaining the eye's connective tissue. I advise taking no more than 1,500mg of vitamin C per day.

To the eye floaters, you can choose these kinds of vitamins. Of course, the first choice is Vitamin A. It is essential nutrients to the eyes. Secondly, choosing vitamin C and vitamin E are also good for your eyes. They can destroy free radicals, and improve eye immune function, to prevent vision loss. Moreover, vitamins B can promote the metabolism of cells within the eye, help the eye disease patients very much. In the daily life, some food are rich in vitamin B, such as animal liver, eggs, dry beans, meat and mushroom, fresh fruits and vegetables contain lots of vitamins. The more you eat, the better your eyes will be.

Vitamins are very essential to the eye health. Though floaters are not such a serious eye disease and don't even need drug treatment, but it's a sign of our eye health condition, especially the vitreous humor. And it means most probably a bad way of living. The most important of vitamins is the A family, especially for the development of optic nerve and photoreceptor cells, which form the retina. Because the surface of retina is flooded with vitreous humor, which is like a pocket holding floaters. So if retina is well developed, vitreous humor will also be healthy. Vc and Ve are a kind of anti-oxidants. They destroy free radicals and enhance the immune function of eye tissues. Vb can promote the metabolism of eye cells and is good for patients with eye disorders. Otherwise, some trace elements are also necessary, such as Zn, Se, Mg, which can ease eye fatigue.
