I think eye cancer is not like any other cancers in the body because we can notice the changes of our eyes. But can you tell me what the signs of eye cancer are?

Signs or symptoms of eye cancer may vary from the type of cancer the patients got. And signs or symptoms of adult eye cancer are different from the eye cancer of children. In adults, symptoms can include: a lot of floaters, blurred vision in one eye, change in iris color, dark spot on iris, bulging eyes, red and painful eyes, and loss of peripheral vision. In the early stages of most eye cancers, adults cannot notice the symptoms or signs on their own. You can only discover those early signs by a routine eye exam.

I'd like to tell you the most common eye cancer in children is retinoblastoma. It is usually diagnosed in children who are only 2 years old or even under this age, but it can strike in other ages too. Signs or symptoms of retinoblastoma include: a white pupil, misaligned eyes, eye pain, and different colored pupil in each eye. If your child told you that there is discomfort in their eyes or you just found the symptoms in the above, you can't shine a flashlight or other source of light directly into your child's eye to investigate their eyes. The lights that doctors use are specifically engineered to examine the eye safely. I think you must take your children to see an eye doctor at this time.
