  • What are the risks of laser eye surgery?

I plan to have a laser eye surgery, and I would love to know what I need to pay attention to. Does this surgery have any risks? What are they?

You shall thick twice before you take the laser eye surgery. Although the surgery can correct vision for patient, it is really risks for the surgery. In details, Almost all of people may suffered from dry eyes after the surgery. Most surgeon said that it is normal to have dry eyes after the surgery and it will go away several months. However, some people suffered from permanent dry eyes after the surgery. Besides, not all laser eye surgery can be success. If the laser removes too little tissue from your eye, you can't get clear vision as you expected. Also, some people may overcorrection from the surgery. And the removes tissue from your eye (overcorrection) is difficult to fix again. At last, Astigmatism can also be caused by the exam.

That is for sure. You should know that every surgery can have its surgery. What you can choose is if you want to have a try. I have heard that some people lose their vision after that surgery. But there are only very few people who suffer from that. Think of this, if too many people lose vision cuz of this surgery, there will not be so many people who still have this surgery. Everything will have a side effect, and you should decide yourself. But in most cases, some people will get dry eyes after that and which is not expected. Further more, some people also reflect that the effects of laser surgery doesn' t last long so that some of them have to do it again.
