Yes, tanning will contribute your cataracts. After tanning, your eyes will get red and dry. Your eyes genes may be damaged. If you want to prevent it, you should wear the sunglasses to protect the eyes from uv rays and other bad lights. You must choose the suitable type of the sunglasses. After tanning, you could use the warm compress to make your eyes get comfortable.

Well, yes, tanning can just lead to cataracts. Generally speaking, ultraviolet rays from a tanning bed can invade through your eyelids. And that will damage the cornea, lens and retina. What is more, Cataracts and blindness can be caused by it. And that can be very dangerous. So in my opinion, you should not go and have tanning without any protection. Also, some other factors that can increase a person's risk of developing cataracts can be smoking, air pollution, and heavy alcohol consumption.

Yes, tanning increase the risk of getting cataracts. It is well known that ultraviolet exposure has long been considered as one of the main causes of cataracts. The ultraviolet in sunlight can cause skin cancer and cataracts. If you tan yourself with tanning bed, the risk is much higher than natural sunlight.Ultraviolet from tanning bed is several times more than that from sunlight. The way to prevent it is to apply a layer of sunscreen before you rub tanning oil. This protect your skin from harmful radiation while providing you a tanned pigmentation.
