Generally speaking, it is the overuse of eyes, insufficient supply of blood in the brain and so on that lead to the sore eyes. It is better to go to the doctor's for an examination to find out the exact cause. In general, the conditions can be improved by massaging the eye sockets, application of eye drops, regular work and rest, regular diet, and so on and so forth. First of all, you should make sure that you get adequate amount of sleep at night, and do not often stay up late, nor do you drink too much alcohol before bedtime. Secondly, control your amount of diet and eat more vegetables and fruits which are rich in vitamins that are good to your eyes. Besides, you can use some eye scream two to three times a day to ease the swelling eyes. Take a break each time when you have been working for an hour and do some eye exercises by massaging with your fingers. In addition, putting slices of potatoes, apples, or cucumbers may help in reducing the swelling eyes.
