  • Can i drive with a lazy eye?

I have got a lazy eye since I was born, but now I intend to learn driving. My parents won' t let me do that because they think people with a lazy eye couldn' t drive, really?

You should better not drive often. However you could wear the special glasses to help you correct the eye vision. But driving too much will make your eyes get tired easily which you need to get rid of. You'd better listen to your parents' suggestions and not drive a lot. You should also have the good rest for the eyes too.

Well, in my opinion, you are not supposed to have driving when you have lazy eyes, unless you have taken some measures to treat it. Generally speaking, lazy eye, which is known as amblyopia, means that one eye has not developed normally and always has blurred vision. So you should know that blurry vision can be normal and if you still go to drive, it will be dangerous for you. In many cases, lazy eyes are caused by various conditions which can prevent the brain from using both eyes together. But for your situation, your lazy eye is hereditary one. So maybe you should wear one pair of glasses which doctor prescribe for you.

Lazy eye, known as amblyopia, is an eye condition that vision be reduced and can not correct with eye glasses or contact lenses. When you have lazy eye, it means that there is something wrong with the connection of your eye and brain. Usually it affects one eye. I have lazy eye too, but I find no problem in driving. So it not true people with lazy eye can not dry. But you lazy eye are very serious and have affect your vision, it is another story. You can't drive if you can not see clear the ground in front of you. Vision therapy is an effective method to help with your lazy eye, you should have a try. Lazy eye should be detect as young as possible, because it can be reversed in a early age.
