I had lasik surgery ten years ago, but now my vision has reverted back to being almost as bad as it was before the surgery, and I need to wear glasses for nearsighted. Can I have the Lasik again?

It depends on your corneal thickness, Because the curing of your nearsightedness during the lasik surgery is to remove tissue to reshape your corneas, so that you can see the far part. So if there is enough tissue left to remove safely, you can do the surgery again. But iit is not recommended to do so, you 'd better go to your doctos to have your eyes checked to see if there isn't any pathological changes in your eyes.

You must be carefully with your second eye surgery nad make sure there is enough remaining corneal thickness so that you can recorrect your vision safely. In order to decrease the chance to have a second lasik surgery, make sure your prescription remain stable for at least a year or so.

It should depend on different factors of your eyes, and the most important factor is the thickness of your corneal. It should be thick enough to remove tissue to reshape your corneas. You will have eye exams before the surgery to determine whether you are a good candidate for the surgery.
