Will myopia disappears as you grow older?

Someone said if you have myopia , your sight will get right and you will see far better as you grow old .Is that true .

It is absurd. Myopia won't disappear or even get better as you grow old . I know why people have such opinion , They think when we grow old ,we will have presbyopia ,but if we have myopia , the two can counterbalance and we will see better . It is not true . But you may need lower strength of prescription glasses to see far because the degree of myopia and presbyopia can offset .
