    I am a high school student. I have short sightedness. I heard that eye exercise can improve our eyesight. So can you tell me how to improve my short sightedness by eye exercises?

    Dear kid, though some kinds of eye exercises can help improve our short sightedness, the effect may last for just a moment and you must stick to it for at least several weeks to get the results. So you must be patient if you adapt this way to improve your eyesight. I think you must know what caused your short sightedness. When i was a high school student, my vision was impaired by long time of watching TV. I think if your short sightedness was caused by reading for a long time or playing computer games daily, you may possibly improve your eyesight by stay away from these had habits.

      Dear friend, you can see an eye doctor and ask for a pair of prescription glasses to help with your short sightedness. Many people say that eye exercises can't help with our eyesight. It can just relax our eyes and increase the blood flow around our eyes. But if you spend a lot of time in the outside, you will get better eyesight. I have tried that before. When i was a student, i had spent two months in the outside without watching TV or playing video games. I found that my eyesight improved naturally. You can have a try. But remember that you need to finish your homework each day and then play in the outside. If you keep a healthy and balanced diet at the same time, you may get better results. Hope this helped.

        5 Exercises to strengthen your eye muscles and improve your vision
        1. blinking. Blinking is an often overlooked yet simple way to keep your eyes fresh and being able to focus longer.
        2. Palming. This is done to relieve stress around the eyes and as a way to relax your eyes whilst taking a computer break.
        3.Figure of eight.This is to exercise your eye muscles and increase their flexibility. This is quite a simple exercise but a good one.
        4.Near and far focusing.This is one of my favorite exercises as you can do it almost anywhere, I say almost as I couldn't imagine doing it on the underground without getting strange looks from those around you.
