Well, it seems that you are not very used to wearing contact lenses. As a matter of fact, it does take some time before you are fully used to those stuff because different people have various eye sizes which could add some trouble to you. Here my advice for you is to moisturize your eyes and take a deep breath, then focus on one thing while putting them into your eyes, hope you find this useful.

It takes several minutes for putting contact in your eye mainly because you are blinking too frequently. Hence, you can follow the steps to stop blinking and protect your eyes when putting contact lenses in. First and foremost, you have to wash your hands before starting do that. And you should stand in front of a mirror. After the preparation, you use your index finger to practice touching your eyeball, and place the thumb of the other hand underneath the eye, and use index finger onto your eyebrow. In the following, you push your thumb down and your index up to lightly touch your eyeball with your index finger. At the same time, it is helpful for keeping your opposite eye closed when trying to touch your eyeball to reduce blinking. In the end, you can use your index finger to take a contact with a few drops of saline solution, and just following the above steps to insert contact lenses into your eyes. By the way, you had better move your eyeball when getting the lens onto your eyeball to secure it in your eyes.

You could face in front of the mirror. Then you focus your eyes at one point to decline the blinking rate. This could be helpful. Or you could use your fingers to make the eyes open by opening the eyelid. You could try the above two ways to stop your eyes from blinking often when you wear the contact lenses.
