It is ok to wear contacts while snorkeling. But, if you take off the mirror and open eyes again in the sea, the glasses have possibility of losing. So, when you are snorkeling, you'd better take some measures. I suggest you choose to wear contact lenses, and then wear goggles. Of course, the quality of diving glasses must be guaranteed, or water is easily infiltrated through the goggles.

You would better not wear contacts while snorkeling. Though you have sealed waterproof face diving mask when you snorkeling, the salt and impurity contenting water will get into eyes inevitably. The impurity and virus will do harm to your eyes and contacts. If you have strong myopia, there are prescription diving glasses for you to choose in the market. You may ask glasses store for the consultation.

When you are snorkeling with the head armed equipment, you could wear the contact lenses which may help you see clearly under water. If there is no snorkeling gear for you, you'd better not wear the contact lenses to avoid the parasite under the water. Hope this help you.

Yes, it will be ok by wearing contacts while snorkeling. Because the contacts are made of plastics and they will be comfortable when you are wearing them. But I suggest you should wear a mask so that you can prevent some water which can be poured in your eyes. As you know that the contact are sensitive object which can be infected easily. So if you can make some measures to protect your eyes and make sure they are safe. Then it will not have any problems.
