How to know if your contact lenses are non prescribed?
My contact lenses are freshlook and on the back it says BC MEDIAN 14.5 and on the side of the box it says -0.00 then a little sign and 2013-01. What does that suppose to mean and is that non- prescribed?
-0.00 is the strengh of the lens which means they are non-prescribed . 14.5 is the curve of the lens. 2013-01 is the expiration date which means you can no longer wear them after that. If a doctor didn't write you a prescription, they're non-prescribed.
