How long do contact lenses last in their package?

I have one pair of contact lenses remaining which I ordered May of last year. They are still in their original package. (I haven't worn contacts since November.) Is it OK to wear them?

It depends on the limit time for using. If it has been out of date, you'd better not wear them any more. If it is still within the date, you can wear them. But you need change the solution in the case as every week so as to keep them clean and from drying. You should know whether your contacts are monthly lenses or yearly lenses. Then you will know whether you should wear them or not.
