How to know if my old sunglasses are still UV protective?

I have a pair of sunglasses more than 5 years and I doubt if the UV protection on them still work. Is there anyway I can tell they are UV protective?

Wear your sunglasses under the sunshine. When you look things through the sunglasses lens and find the color changes, then your sunglasses still have UV protection.

If you can't tell by yourself, you can take them to a good optician to have it checked out. They can use special tools to measure whether there is UV protetion. If there's not, you can either replace the lenses or get a new pair of sunglasses with UV protection.
