How to rid a sunglass frame of gold plating and make it silver?

Are there any liquid solutions to remove the gold coloring or can i sandpaper it, then polish it to make it silver? Any smart advice?

First，get some spray paint in the color you want . Then clean your frames to make sure all of the gold plating are removed completely . Cover your lens with a small piece of cloth to avoid being stained .Shake and evenly coat the frame with the spray .then all is over ,just wait it to dry . you can see your new sunglasses,LOL
