As a matter of fact, it can exactly give rise to blurred vision because of iron deficiency. Iron is very important for both body and eyes. In the body of metabolism, iron plays an important role. Thus the iron deficiency will be related with many diseases. It may affect the metabolism which has a close relation to the body. When you have the disease at the whole body, you will find that the eyes may become dry easily. The dryness of the eyes may easily cause the blurred vision. To solve the problem, you'd better intake the food with iron. The iron mainly exists in animal liver, egg, milk, besides, spinach also is filling iron. You could just eat more to make you feel comfortable and have the bright eyes. Hope these suggestions can be helped.

I make a deep search online and didn't find any evidence that iron deficiency can cause blurred vision. People with iron deficiency may suffer nausea, vomiting, extreme fatigue, pale skin, weakness, headache, dizziness and lightheadedness etc. It seems it won't cause blurry vision. And blurry vision can be get from high blood pressure, depression, pain, high cholesterol, taking aspirin, Prednisone, Neurontin or Lipitor etc. So, if you get blurry vision, you shall have check your body by a doctor so as to know what causes it.

Iron deficiency (sideropenia or hypoferremia) is one of the most common of the nutritional deficiencies. Iron is present in all cells in the human body, and has several vital functions. The symptoms of iron deficiency are fatigue, dizziness, pallor, hair loss, twitches, irritability, weakness. Blurred vision refers to a lack of sharpness of vision resulting in the inability to see fine detail. Iron deficiency has a slightly side effect on eye sight, but it is hardly to cause blurry vision. Blurry vision is commonly due to astigmatism, glaucoma, myopia, dry eyes, cataracts, diabetes and eye problems, far sightedness and optic neuritis. Based on these details, we can see that iron deficiency may not lead to blurry vision. However, we still need to take some measure to help iron in our body keep a normal value.

The side effects of being iron deficient may vary from person to person. Generally speaking, iron deficiency may lead to weakness fatigue, and lightheadedness. Besides, it may cause cold hand and feet, poor appetite, pale skin and so on. Iron is necessary to human body, and you can get it from animals' liver, fruit and vegetables. Iron deficiency may effect our eyesight, but there is no evidence if it lead to blurred vision.
