Is it possible that someone's myopia will get better naturally?

My father is in his 50's and recently he told me that his myopia got better than before. Is it possible?

Yes it is possible. As myopia has contrary symptoms to presbyopia, so people may need lower strength of prescription glasses to see far because the degree of myopia and presbyopia can offset. For example ,If one wear -400 prescription glasses,and he has +200 presbyopia, then he only need -200 prescription glasses.
